Sorry I havent been blogging much since I have been working on more videos. There is a difference between videos and short films. I hope to show you all that coming soon....

wow i am lazy

it has been awhile since i write something here, and actually if it wasnt for DaremasterSpoodle I wouldnt have remembered this...hehehe

anyways i am working on some editing from a web show about Magic the gathering, My buddy Dan is making it happen and I just Film! woot I got a 2 light kit now and it really brights up the room, I tried to get a 3 light kit but inside the box there were NO power cords kinda hard to use with out power cords so i downgraded and it worked well! this friday he (dan) is coming over to assist me on the editing since I have no clue what the hell they were talking about for over a hour and half of tape
hehehe, hey i dont have understand the words to make it look good.

At work today i met a lady who is the president of some Alliance, OH play club, and its all volunteer work which is cool cuz I can learn for free. she asked me if I have schooling in it, I said no. She seemed to frown upon it. Until I mentioned I believe I have a talent. I mentioned a few things that I do and have. And she mentioned like 5-6 different jobs. Oh yea she asked me to audition if I wanted too.

so..... I was soooo afraid to try out for the school plays. For fear someone would make fun of me. Paul says that he hated the Jocks in his school. And I havent told him that I was one of those Jocks! hehehe we are cool so I dont think it would even matter. So I think that I might just try to help them in some way shape or form.
I might even want to audition for a role...but most likely do behind the scenes things like watch the director, things that I think I know how to do naturally but would like some insight how others do it, plays would seem like a logical start since it is fast action you got ONE shot, unlike my films where I do like around 3 takes per shot.

and the biggest thing I and ALL filmakers need is people who want to act, the ideas normally come really quick, and if you can make it happen then who knows where your short film can go. A lot of contests like a 48hr or 72hr contest. I WILL enter one of those next year!

Just thinking

I got a lot on my plate at the momement and it is all tastey. I need to do a presentation at work for tuesdays meeting and I am on a small vacation to nowhere but my imagination. I need to relax, and write so scripts. I am working on 2 atm and I am working out all the details in my head. and right now there is too much things running through my head.....need to relax come on next week!!!

So i have been unfocused really, or maybe just lazy. But next week marks my first paid vacation in god knows how long. I have 53 hours to waiste in the month of october. with the first weekend in october going to see Chainsaw prequel. and also a weekend to see Saw3. also i plan on writting 2 scripts. I need to finish "Pwn for Real" and to write my story for leaders of a new world. Paul is xtremly busy at his new job, and Landon emailed me about expanding the movie. I am all for it, and Since JIMMY HAYWOOD is going to be in it. It is actually going to be his first movie since his birth in Charlotte. This would be a great piece to show all the folks down south of what I have become.

What a great feature to show david george(my music man). maybe we can complete it he could make the soundtrack for it.

anyways I got a few ideas on how I want to introduce jimmy to the world. since he is a alcoholic with a metal plate in his head from a car accident the sky is the limit. the main thing I am trying to work out is his confrontation with the alien Since Paul has a scene stealer I am thinking of how Jimmy and Uncle Kenny's stories should/could play out. I can go traditional of most 3 part stories and have a scene stealer in all, but I do like to put the FU in FUn so......

I was once told it is easy to make people cry but hard to make them laugh(in films of course) I am not quite sure that it is true but yet I havent tried to many films. I guess that I should make something that I would like to see, and just say FU...n

so by typing this message I will prolly understand nothing that I am saying but that is great cuz this was just a brainstorm for myself to gather ideas and actual put them on the PC since I have no paper to write it down... anyways I am going to make it cult as possible. so we are going to expand the story of leaders so I say that we need not only to expand jimmy's and uncle kenny's part but to also expand by making Landon's character the villian throughout the film but to do this would make one long picture so I will have to pitch the idea around....

so i was sitting at my pc waiting for a Guildwars game, and It just hit me. my coworker Scott is going to rewrite my script. make it a lil more pro. after he does I am going to show it again and ask for production help. In my meeting I saw some vids from this dude named Mark Wiitman and he is good. Prolly the best I have seen locally. Maybe I can sell myself and the script to him and DC. and they will let me have my dream.
Landon and Brandon or Paul please get ready cuz once Scott hands me the script we need to get the ball rolling since I will really need your help and Kenny's as well....

I will once again try to contact Rachel Roberts, maybe we need to see her play... we really need her but.....if not maybe we can find some one else and not show case a musical talent as well.....

Come 7 more years, next month till my dream doesnt become a reality.
I will keep on trying my hardest for these next few years..

Well the meeting went well, and as expected he wanted to see finish products... damn But he is interested in working with me, but he needs to see some product. He showed me some works from another dude and they were FN awesome. also while i was there we watched a movie called 11:14. Its great too!
